Victoria Beckham sues firm for £1 million over a mirrored ceiling

Victoria Beckham is suing the firm that installed a mirrored ceiling in her flagship store in London for £1 million.

The super mirror ceiling in the basement came crashing down and ‘waving was created’ after the store turned up its heating.

Emails reveal Victoria Beckham Ltd demanded a “dead flat” finish with joins concealed and builders said they offered “several alternatives” before fitting them.

When the West End store turned up its heating in 2017 to dry plaster one ceiling in the basement came crashing down.

Others allegedly no longer lie flat and a “waving effect has been created”.

Lawyers for Posh, 46, left, accuse building firm NJ Richards of negligence and breaching duty.

They want £607,000 to replace the panels and are suing for £200,000 in lost profits plus £15,000 in “professional fees”.

Costs could take the total over £1million.

In response, NJ Richards said Victoria Beckham Ltd “recorded an operating loss for both the financial years 2017 and 2018”.
