It is a rather general assumption that men tend to sweat more and to some extent, and in some cases this does hold true. While we are no judge of how frequently boys must take a shower to get rid of the sweaty and musty scent, we do know one way they can smell well at all times.
There are some scent-boosting methods that can add long-lasting fragrance to your clothes.
Smell fresh and good all week long. With these methods, your laundry will smell nice and fresh for longer than expected. To make it work, you need to do the same right from the washing stage. You cannot simply spray bottles of deodorants before heading out of the house and then expect to have a fresh scent.
How To Do It
To make your clothes smell well, start off by washing them with a fragrant detergent. Once you are done, take half a bucket of water and soak all of your washed clothes in the same with fabric softener.
This method promises a good scent and also makes sure that your clothes do not fade away and look washed out.
Add vinegar
Vinegar helps get rid of pungent smells. Be it your sweat-ridden shoes or your stinky t-shirts, vinegar is the answer to all unpleasant odours. Add one tablespoon vinegar in a bucket with washed clothes soaked in half part water.
Use lavender water
Lavender has a soothing scent and it’s probably the best way to keep your clothes from stinking. For this, once you are done washing your clothes, take half a bucket of water, take one tablespoon of lavender essential oil and soak the clothes in for about 15 minutes.
After wash, Add coffee beans
Once you have gotten your clothes from wash and ironing, place them nicely in your cupboard. To the same cupboard, add some coffee beans as they take away the ill scent in case any.
You can add coffee beans to a recycled container, punch holes in the same and place it at the bottom self. Make sure you are not using more than 6-8 beans as the coffee scent can also be strong. You don’t want to smell like Starbucks all day long right?
Perfumed tissue paper
Many believe that instead of spraying perfume all over your clothes you should infuse scents. According to experts, spray some perfume on a tissue or cotton ball and then place it in the drawer with your clothes.
Once your clothes are trapped with that scent, they will start to smell good for longer than usual.
