What happens to the Human Brain after the age of 25?

One of the most interesting question about the the Human Brain I have gotten is ‘do adult get more intelligent as they grow?’ In as much as this question is sarcastic it is also very valid.

 

The human brain stop growing while in their mid 20s. Some research have statistically stated that the brain stopped growing at the age of twenty five, which technically you can say base on that fact that an adult at the age may not be able to grow more intelligent beyond what they know and chose not to know once they have passed that age.

 

But here is an interesting thing, the front part of the brain, called the prefrontal cortex, is one of the last brain regions to mature. This area is responsible for skills like planning, prioritizing, and controlling impulses.

 

At teen age, the brain is opened to adaptability, and response to environmental features and Changes. Challenging activities like arts, puzzles often make the brain grow better at this age.

 

So What happens to the brain after the age of 25?

According to researches done more than a century since James’s influential text, we know that, unfortunately, our brains start to solidify by the age of 25.

 

Fortunately, there are various premeditated actions and requirements that can kick start the brain into more developing stages after the age of 25!

 

According to some modern physiological believe, the human brain become fixed at a certain stage. But with improvement in science and nutrition, it has also been stated the human brain can be lazy and dormant if you allow it.

 

While it is impossible to be able to learn as fast and immediate as you would at the teenage age, there are also better ways to improves the brain and intimate Continuous development.

 

Creation of new neurons

There are various things required for the human brain to create new neurons, the creation of neurons is part of what helps in developing the brain steadily even after the stated age for brain development.
