Gbetu TV (News They Are Not Talking About)
Following the protest of National Youth Council(NYC) against Bobrisky, Life Coach, Solomon Buchi decided to share why more men hate him than women.
Here is his thread from Twitter:
If you notice, most people who hate and protesting against Bobrisky are men! Yes, they feel betrayed. Manhood is like a cult, and doing anything that patronizes ‘femininity’ as a man make men angry. It’s not just about Bobrisky; it’s internalized misogyny.
Everyday, men rape women; young girls are killed. Married women are asked to stay up with cheating husbands and endure marriage in pain. Not one man has held a placard calling out men for unruly and inhumane attitudes and how women are largely treated. But Bobrisky is a problem.
You see, the anger of these men is that they’ve lost a man who could have been a rapist; they’ve lost a misogynist and a chauvinist. Women must not be seen happy, how much more a transgender women or cross-dresser? Never before the average Nigerian man’s presence! Never!
I can bet that 70% of the men who hate and prostrated against Bobrisky have sexually assaulted, raped, abused a woman. I am so sure! The issue isn’t ‘immorality’ as they pose. It is a cult mentality. And I’ll show you why and how…
The police men who brutalize citizens ain’t transgender or cross dressers; the rapists and sexual predators that hunt women ain’t cross dressers or transgender. Not one man has held a placard against these toxic men. Why a Bobrisky? Cult mindset. They see him/her as a betrayal.
If these men really care about ‘morality’, they’d speak against the abuse men largely lash out on women; they’d hunt sexual predators. They’d don’t care. Just be a man; act like a man; be violent and misogynistic, anything away from this is betrayal to manliness.
Nigerian men have a long way to go. The crime and evil MEN do don’t bother them. They are angry over a man who chooses to dress in a way they interpret as feminine. They are angry over a man identifying as a woman. But not angry at the evil men who wear trousers do…
