The name of Serena Williams husband is Alexis Ohanian. He is a 36-year-old Tech-preneur and best-selling author from the US.

Alexis Ohanian was born in Brooklyn, New York City, in 1983 to an Armenian-American father – whose family fled the genocide – and a German mother.

He went to school in Ellicot City, Maryland, before graduating from the University of Virginia in 2005 with degrees in commerce and history.

As well as his online ventures and writing he is a political activist – specifically in matters relating to the worldwide web.

Mr Ohanian wrote the bestselling book – Without Their Permission: How the 21st Century Will Be Made, Not Managed, which was published in 2013.

He was dubbed “Mayor of the Internet” after his battles with US lawmakers over proposed bills aimed at cracking down on online copyright breaches.

The father-of-one is famous for co-founding social news website called Reddit at the age of 22 along with business partner and fellow Virginia graduate Steve Huffman. It was officially launched on 23 June 2005.

Reddit  was recently valued at £407million  ( “N164, 472, 815, 991.00”) and is considered to be the seventh biggest site in the US.

Also in 2007, he went on to launch social enterprise Breadpig and helped set up travel search website Hipmunk in 2010, before co-founding the early stage venture capital firm Initialized Capital the same year.

The net worth of the new dad is estimated to be £6.7million ( $9million) – (“N32, 67000, 000”)
