Why a 4-Months Old Child Shouldn’t take Snacks.

Q: Doctor is it healthy to give a 4 month old child snacks?

A 4-month old child should not be given any snacks. The WHO clearly recommends that children should only be breastfed upto the age of 6 months. After the age of 6 months, they may be given some soft foods in addition to breast milk.

Gradually, they should be weaned off onto solid foods. At the age of 4 months, children should definitely not be given any snacks.
