WHY INEC DID NOT UPLOAD THE RESULTS TO ITS SERVER

162 attempts were made to hack into the Inec server meant for the upload of the just concluded general election results from the various polling units across the federation in the last 72 hours, an independent source disclosed.

The attempt was initiated from different parts of the world, Asia, Europe, America and locally within Nigeria.

This explains why the Independent National Electoral Commission was reluctant to upload the 2023 General Election result to the server despite calls from other political parties.

The PDP and LP alongside other political parties raised an alarm regarding INEC’s inability to upload the results to the site and insist collation of results should be discontinued until the results were uploaded. But in a swift reaction the INEC chairman overruled the prayers and continued the exercise.

The INEC feared that the results might be tempered with that’s why they did not upload the results to protect the integrity of the electoral process thus saving the nation from chaos and violence.
