After pledging at the Pledging Conference at London, World Leaders have finally raised 10 billion dollars  to support Syrians.

This is the most money ever raised for a crisis in a single day.

The money will go toward meeting the urgent needs of those affected by  crisis which has lasted more than 5 years, killed more than 250,000 people, forced over 4 million people to flee and put 13.5 million people inside Syria in desperate need of humanitarian aid.

They also promised long-term funding and loans, which mean that humanitarian and development partners will be able to work together to get children back into school, design employment programmes and begin rebuilding infrastructure.

This is a huge step on the road to relief for the Syrian people.
