Gbetu TV (News They Are Not Talking About)
Y2m Oxygen EP titled “Half of Street” is all about his life story and passion for music; how he began as a broke musician and ended up being in an office but later followed his passion and succeed.
As an Indigene of Oyo state, Ibadan to be precise, Y2m Oxygen is addicted to music and he has passion for it.
2005 was rough but exciting as a new artist. Initially he thought becoming a musician will be as easy as pie but trust me, it wasn’t at all.
He dropped out of music but moved on with school to work in office but the passion kept pushing him back to music, yeah I know, it’s somehow crazy. But currently, He is maintaining both sides of the hustle; STREET AND OFFICE and this is where the title of Half of Street EP came from:
All the songs on the Half of street EP were written with blood and passion from in-depth of his heart. The way he feels, the way others feel about him, about his Country, voice of the people and love.
2. The second track titled RABBA is Y2m Oxygen favorite, because he was able to talk about his hustle, the importance of money in life and why everyone deserves to also have it. Rabba is for those who want to become rich and famous in life. Rabba is also a danceable single which means everyone will vibe to it.
3. The third track titled TOLONGO LOVE is a full vibe, energetic love song and party jam. On this one, he featured Lace who made justice to the whole song with his invaluable lyrics and vibe. Tolongo love is for those who want to love, dance and party.
6. The sixth track titled WORK OUT shows his full potential when it comes to sensational songs. Every track on half of street EP is different from each other in mood, style and pattern.
7. The last seventh track is highly romantic and lovely titled KHOLI WATER. It is for men who want to profess love to a girl or a fiancé. It is strictly for love birds. Make your girl happy and put her in a loveable mood.
All songs on this EP are lit, listen and rate it 10 over 10.
