YABATECH gives Registration Deadline; takes lectures Online
The Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) has released its final date for registration of students who are involved in the 2019/2020 academic session.
This Information is for full time and part time students who are yet to conclude their first semester registration for 2019/2020 academic session.
In a circular signed by its Registrar, Dr. S.O. Momodu, the First Semester Registration will end on Friday, 22nd May, 2020.
Dr. Momodu also added that “Physical screening of documents of newly admitted candidates will be done by the Admission Department after COVID-19.”
The college also made decision to continue lectures for student via E-Learning due to the COVID-19 Pandemic in another circular signed by Dr. Momodu.
It says all YABATECH students will resume lectures on Monday, May 25th, 2020, ONLINE.
“The academic staffs are adviced to use any convenient online teaching platform. i.e. Zoom, WhatsApp, Telegram, Googleclassroom, to interact with the students.”
It also added that there will be two weeks practical classes after the online teachings before the semester examination, just like it was done offline or before the pandemic.
The academic staff are advised to inform their HOD on the platform chosen and also add him or her for supervision.
