YORUBA NATION: We are not with Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the President of Nigeria

In a few days time the president elect of the contentious 2023 Presidential election will be sworn in. The flawed Presidential election is being contested by opposition candidates in court. Whether the INEC declared President elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu should be sworn in or not before the court judgement has unarguably hit up the polity. To us in the Yoruba nation self determination movement whatever the outcome of the presidential tribunal would be does not matter because what we wanted and clamoured for is a self governing Yoruba state and not any 2023 general elections subjected to manipulation to imposed the handpicked caliphate agent .

What the Yoruba nation campaigners advocated for before the general elections is a peaceful dissolution of Nigeria. We have appealed and conducted signatories campaigns for the UN to supervise a referendum for all ethnic nationalities in Nigeria to decide whether they wanted to be part of Nigeria or not.

Though, the president elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a Yoruba man, the Yoruba nation movement do not have hope or illusion in the continuous existence of Nigeria or a Tinubu presidency. We believe that Nigeria has outlived her usefulness since October 1st 2014 and should be dissolved, that was why we aligned with Prof. Banji Akintoye led Ilana Ọmọ Oduduwa that the Nigeria nightmare should end, to actualise the sovereign state of the Yoruba.

We therefore use this medium to dissociate ourselves from the May 29th inauguration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the President of Nigeria. We also called on the oppressed and exploited Yoruba majority to be prepared for a protracted struggle to end Nigeria, to us the sovereign Yoruba nation cannot be compromised for Nigeria presidency.

We are aware that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to unleashed his trained private army and other organised agents of state terror on the Yoruba nation campaigners, we hold bold to say that we shall not be deterred or intimidated in our commitment to actualise Yoruba nation. Those who makes peaceful change impossible makes violent change inevitable, WE ARE PREPARED and NOTHING SHALL DISCOURAGE US.
