YOU WILL NOT GO UNPUNISHED: Ali Modu replies Fani Kayode.

by Paul Ode
The newly elected Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) national chairman, Ali Modu Sheriff, in an interview on Monday, 22nd of June, on Channels Television, said Fani Kayode will not go unpunished.

This was reaction to the statement made by Fani Kayode. Thi statement  has aggravated so many reactions across the nation.
In the statement, Fani Kayode regarded Sheriff as ” the founder and sponsor of Boko Haram that threatens the people of the nation at large”.
On the other hand, the Chairman in his reply, portrayed total dissatisfaction and condemnation at the statement. He made his mind known on the decision to threaten those regarding him as a remote founder and sponsor of Boko Haram sect. “Fani will not go unpublished” he added.
PDP had its chairmanship election conducted by the National Executive Council (NEC) of the party earlier this month.
Meanwhile, the election of Senator Ali Sheriff as conducted by the NEC, has caused so many issues within and outside the party, in that, the party in its national caucuses and conventions has shown disapproval to the so called election that ushered in the “imposed  party national chairman” as regarded. They therefore, request the immediate resignation of the chairman.
Reactions from the party stalwart, the Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose among others have proved pleasure of the election. “We believe in the new party chairman, we should therefore work with him”, says Governor Fayose.
