After suffering from food poisoning, actresses Yvonne Nelson and Shatta Michy are fortunate to be alive and well.

Miss Nelson shared her experience on Adom TV’s weekend entertainment show Ahosepe Xtra with Black I, recounting how she came face to face with death.

She claimed it happened at an undisclosed restaurant where she was having lunch with a coworker.

After what she described as a wonderful day, the actress said she came home only to be knocked out by agonizing stomach pain.

“I was afraid I was going to die.” I was in a lot of pain and remember crawling on the floor. “It was that horrible,” she said.

However, she was quick to add that to date; she is uncertain if it was a deliberate attempt or simply a bad combination of food that led to the situation.

“I don’t know what happened on that day, but I remember calling my colleague to ask if she is also having that same problem because, with mine, I thought I was going to die but lo and behold, I am still here,” she said.

Similarly, songstress turned actress, Michy also disclosed that she has suffered from food poisoning.

Michy’s obsession with street food, particularly grilled tilapia, nearly cost her life.

She said she started feeling uncomfortable after eating the meal, and her experience was likewise “that terrible.”
