ARE YOU STILL WAITING FOR YOUR GOVERNMENT?: The today’s youth from my own stance is industrious, energetic but too reliant. Relying on the government for job. Relying on parents and relatives for livelihood. Relying on school certificates for employment. And so on.

This is however not entirely the fault of the youth because of series of faulty systems ranging from physical, economic, academic, moral to political incompetence of the systems and institutions that should promote human welfare.

The state of politics and schooling that do not promote Entrepreneurship is why Nigerian youth are suffering today waiting for politics as career. Schooling in the 21st Century should now produce leaders and Entrepreneurs, not job seekers and political jobbers.

Thank God for the 21st century revolutions in science and technology which has ushered in streams of possibilities for wealth creation. We are no more in a baggage-based Economy. We are now in a knowledge-baesd Economy where ideas rule the world. And I tell you, Youth Entrepreneurship is the key to personal and national transformation. It is the deployment of value reorientation and skill development as working tools for human capital development.

Today, you can make cool cash from the comfort of your home with just an application of one relevant mental skill. You can even delve into digital and e-marketing skills which are purely knowledge based. In telecommunication and forex trading, thousands of youths are making a lot of money from the sales and acquisition of data and information. The forex economy trades about 5 trillion dollars globally on daily basis. Agriculture is not left out as production and distribution of agro-products have gone digital.

Youths,  Acquire a relevant skill today. It is my desire to be a part of a youthful Generation of Generals that will change the face of the Economy and Politics of Africa and the world.
