If you have ever been asked the question “Who is the real Slay Queen?” If your answer is not Dr. Mrs. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala then you are wrong!
She is such a golden fish that cannot be hidden. She is the brightest star that cannot be buried in any dark cloud. She is a much sought after personality whenever solutions to economic activities are desperately needed.
She is the role model that Nigerian youths should adopt as a mentor.

2. Attended secondary schools in Nigeria (Queen’s School, Enugu, St. Anne’s School, Molete, Ibadan, and the International School Ibadan).
3. Graduated from Harvard University with magna cum laude (Distinction or First Class) in Economics at first degree.
4. Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Regional Economics and Development.
5. PhD thesis titled “Credit policy, rural financial markets, and Nigeria’s agricultural development”.
6. Served Presidents Obasanjo and Jonathan as a minister and just got nominated by President Buhari to the World Trade Organization as a Director General!
7. Had a 25 years of meritorious career at the World Bank where she rose to the number 2 position as Managing Director.
8. Married and have 4 children (the children are on their own conquering different grounds in academics and medicines globally).
9. Appointed into various positions of responsibilities by the UN, IMF, AU etc. She dazzled all of them with great performances.
10. Member of board of directors of Twitter, Independent Non-executive Member of the Board of Directors of Standard Chartered, Senior Advisor to Lazard, Board Chair of Gavi etc.
What more can I say? She is an MVP at any time. And she is Anioma, a royalty from Ogwashi Uku.
I will hug this woman whenever I meet her in person because in all honesty, I don’t like her……….. I love her, for she is an abundance of blessings to herself, her family, Anioma, Nigeria and the rest of the world.

Not because she is Igbo extraction, ofcourse you can never identify her with, in terms of service delivery, other than humanitarian service delivery, but in other words you can never rule out her Igbo extraction for her democratic nature. She is really a role model in all ramifications. May God continue to bless and guide her.
