Edo: Ukpoke Youth Leader Kidnapped – 1million Naira ransom demanded.

A youth leader in Akahia /Ukpoke-Uhiele, Ekpoma, Edo state have been reported kidnapped allegedly by unknown herdsmen on Tuesday, 7th August.

The youth leader, who originally is from Akahia was kidnapped at his farm.
He was suppose to host an event the next day at the Cattle market in Uhiele.

 


The kidnappers have only been identified as Fulani Cattle Rearers by their intonation when they called demanding for 1million naira ransom.
Uhiele people have therefore demand the immediate release of the young man least it leads to major crises between the community and Hausa-Fulani that are already moving on their farms.
The therefore, request the immediate intervention of  security agencies to take control.
