Gunmen Kill Ortom’s Aide – AIG Christopher Dega (Rtd)

Gunmen have killed Senior Special Assistant to Benue Governor Samuel Ortom on Security, AIG Christopher Dega (Rtd) in Jos, Plateau State Capital.

 

Jega was said to have been shot in the chest several times by the gunmen on Tuesday, June 1.

 

AIG Dega had a brilliant career in the Nigerian Police Force and was twice Commissioner of Police in Borno and Edo States.

He hailed from Katsina-Ala local government area in Benue state .

 

 

The public relation officer of the Police command in the state has not reacted to the incident as at the time of filling this report.

 

This accomplished security icon fell victim of security rascality ravaging the Nation and threatening the country ‘s corporate existence.

 

Left to mourn him are his beautiful wife, Kashimana, son, siblings, in-laws ,friends and all of us. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace till we meet to part no more
