Icardi out for four weeks over shoulder injury, say PSG

Paris Saint-Germain have on Monday announced that striker Mauro Icardi has suffered a sprain on his shoulder.

In a statement, PSG said the Argentine suffered a Grade 2 sprain of the acromioclavicular joint and will be out for three to four weeks.

The 28-year-old picked up the injury in his side’s 4-2 win against Berest last Friday.

“Medical examinations have revealed the Argentina international is suffering from a Grade 2 sprain of the acromioclavicular joint.

“It is estimated he will return to full training in three to four weeks,” the club announced on their website.

The update means Icardi could return to help the club in the Champions League in mid-September
