Kwahu Nteso: 10 year old Zepola Ocansey hangs herself to death
Residents at Kwahu Nteso heard a very sad and shocking news as a 10-year-old girl identified as Zepola Ocansey decided to take her own life by hanging herself with a headscarf in a room.
Thi tragic incident occurred at Kwahu Nteso in the Kwahu East District of the Eastern Region on Tuesday, May 19 2020 around 5:50 pm.
According to reports, the deceased was asked to hawk some food items on behalf of her sick mother which she refused claiming that she also not feeling well.
Her Grandmother told Star News that the deceased took her bath and then went into her room. After some hours of her mother noticing her conspicuous absence in the house, she decided to look for her only to find her hanging dead in her room.
The body of Zepola has been conveyed to the Atibie Government Hospital Morgue.
The reason for her action is still unknown as police conduct further investigations on the matter.
