The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will conduct 15 bye-elections across 11 states on Saturday.
The polls will take place in six senatorial districts and nine state constituencies across the country.
The elections were earlier scheduled to take place on October 31 but the violence that followed the demonstrations against police brutality forced the electoral commission to postpone the polls.
The violence forced many states — including places the elections are scheduled to take place — to impose curfews.
The bye-elections in Imo east, Lagos east, Cross River north and Plateau south are because those who won the legislative seats in the zones in the 2019 general election are deceased.
The former legislators occupying Bayelsa central and west have been elected as governor and deputy governor of the state.
