Gbetu TV (News They Are Not Talking About)
My reaction to the reported arrest of Governor Obiano by EFCC.
Let me start by reminding Eneh Victor Chigozie my pay as you go writer friend that both of us are not in the same class.
He is always ready to blackmail people especially when they pay him peanut to do so.
Having said this, let me disclose the reason why I was not in a haste to write about Governor Obiano reported arrest by EFCC.
The reason is because I decided not to dwell on the information being circulated on social media by disgruntled opposition elements.
I like being sure of what am writing.
Am reacting to the incident now because I confirmed it to be true through Willsom Uwajeren, EFCC spokesman press release that was published on Punch Newspaper.
In that press release, I must say that it is very funny of EFCC to claim that Governor Obiano was placed on their watch list for a very long time.
My reason for saying that their latest claim is funny is because the first time they used fifth columnists to plant the story of Governor Obiano being placed on their watch list in print and social media, I was among those that tackled them in the media and I remember vividly that as at that time, EFCC distanced themselves from the planted news report.
Now that they have confirmed the report to be true, I will boldly tell them that the World are watching and the interest of people is how they are going to handle the matter for justice to be done.
They levelled allegation of inflation of Anambra Airport Project cost on Governor Obiano, they also claimed that they are investigating how he used his security vote when he was in office as Governor, lastly, they accused him of mismanagement of 17billion naira Paris club refund money.
These are the allegation levelled against Governor Obiano that was credited to EFCC and flying in the media.
I will say that the 3 allegations are unfounded but must warn EFCC to expedite action on the matter and present proof for the whole World to see if former Governor Obiano is guilty of the allegation they levelled against him.
We will not accept a situation whereby, they will resort to telling the general public the cock and bull story that they are still investigating the matter because since they confirmed that they placed him on their watch list long time ago, they are supposed to have concluded their investigation and should not hide the outcome from the general public.
Anything contrary to what I said now is a clear indictment of EFCC and an evidence showing that they are witch hunting him for politically motivated reasons.
Already, many people are tracing EFCC witch hunt of the former Governor to the disgrace of APC in the last governorship election but they should be rest assured that their witch hunt of Obiano will fetch them unbearable shame.
Fmr Governor Obiano will come out of this his politically motivated travail in strong spirit.
As for the idiots saying that I have abandoned Obiano, they should know that am not the same with them.
My support for Obiano and Soludo did not start today and my track record has proved to everyone that knows me that when am with you that you can count on me always. Infact, people are now confessing that am reliable and that am not a bootlicker.
EFCC should put a stop to their politically motivated witch hunt of Governor Obiano.
As for Senator Stella Oduah whose supporters are jubilating over Obiano’s ordeal in EFCC, I will tell her to first remove the wool in her eyes before removing the sand in Obiano’s eye.
Her money laundering case with EFCC is one of the major reason that made her to join APC but up till today she is not yet saved from EFCC dragnet.
