Ondo State: Madam Do Good (Ruth Olowookere), is dead

Mrs Ruth Olowookere, an Ondo state business mogul, widely known as “Madam do Good” is dead.

 

Mrs Olowokere was said to have died after a brief illness.

 

In a statement made available on Sunday by Mr. Kunle Ajibogun, on behalf of the family stated, “Our family is deeply saddened to inform you of the call to eternal home of our beloved mother, sister, and grandmother, Chief Mrs. Ruth Olowookere.


The statement further stated that she was was still hale and hearty on Thursday, adding that her death is not connected to Covid-19.

 

This is to inform the good people of Ondo State and Nigerian in general that we have lost a rare gem, the Iyaloja-General of Ondo state, Chief Mrs Ruth Olowookere aka (Madam Do Good).

 

Madam Do Good, died today 26th July, 2020 (Sunday) at the aged of 70yrs old after a brief illness.


However, her death is not in anyway connected with the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace. (Amen).

Her death came to many as a rude shock.

 

Until her death, she was Iyaloja General of Ondo State.
