ENUGU AKANU IBIAM AIRPORT: Airport without Airplanes – a plot and a Stunt

A week ago, it was a fanfare, an Ecstacy that can only be drug or Opium induced were witnessed as many Igbo Children, Elders and even our Mothers assembled at AKANU IBIAM AIRPORT, located in ENUGU. That’s the only Airport that has ever hosted International Flights for the whole of the South East.

South East is a Tripodial part of the amalgamation mistake, but be it as it may, as a Tripod Nation (Three legged Stand, AWUSA, Yoroba and Igbo), things are done in quota according to the interpretation given to the North by our Colonial Demons, that was when they advised the North not to secede as they wished in 1967 when they carried out what they called COUNTER COUP, which they called AREBA, and they have prepared AREWA FLAG and all things that they will need to secede, the articles were stored at IKEJA CANTONMENT, but the British who never wanted peace in any Nation they monopolized which they called Colonization, in reality, you can’t Colonize a Colonized people.. So they came with Guns, Bible, Slave Trade aided with ism and schism, that way they Tore everything apart and brought 3 different Nations into one, just to enable them have a Total Control of Blacks and made sure they stayed underdeveloped and never in unison.

The Colonial Monsters brought us a book which we later accepted as Book of life, but they that brought it never read it or believe on it, the Bible would’ve taught them that two cannot walk together unless they agreed, but the Brits wanted this 3 Tribes to walk together in total disagreement, which can never work, no basis to stay together, no Love lost or hoped for.

In Britain they have provision for Divorce in marriage that refused to work, but this Arranged marriage called amalgamation is not working, can never work, but they refused to allow us a peaceful dissolution, yet they think they will ever have peace?

Little Wonder they toil only to pad the wallet of the Queen, and on thier average, they are slaves to a Woman.

Akanu Ibiam used to be an International AIRPORT that host International Flights, especially ETHIOPIAN AIRLINES, that move cut short all the artificial labyrinth created for Igbo Traders who travel the most and also Eastern home comers, who were compelled to always stop first in Lagos or Abuja, spend the night on Hostility which also add so much IGR to the town before going to Home sweet home.

As the Plot and grand conspiracy to stop Akanu Ibiam from hosting International Flights continued , they came up with mumbo mixed with Jumbo that the Airport needs upgrading, also needs upliftment, without consideration to those using the Airport or seeking their opinion, it was closed for Renovation and other grammars that mean next to nothing.

Well after a prolong delays, suddenly some innocent Igbo Boys where killed under the guise of ASKING FOR FREEDOM in same Enugwu, the atmosphere were charged and to avoid unnecessary conflict they started the Media hullabaloo that Enugwu Airport is now on Same Page with JFK AIRPORT and that it will be Reopened for business.

Ndigbo as usual, with the spirit of NWA okpulu came together with lots of fanfare assembled to grace the Event.. Lo and behold, what we saw was conflagration of Scaffolds and uneven surfaces.

The entrance to the Airport is an Apology.

The Hall is completely Mess, as Scaffolds litter every Nook and Crany, the outside looked like Haiti after the Quake.

That was when they changed the story, that it was the Runway they said will go into repair and or upgrade.

Now the question remains, if it is the Runway, why then did they litter the Halls with Scaffolds?

Why make the Airport symphony of confusion as it wasn’t in the Upgrading list?

If the target was the Runway, why didn’t they let the Hall be, so we can manage it as it was?

If they changed mind and decided to upgrade the Hall, why did they announce the Airport ready when they knew it can’t be used?

Now they have reopened it, now that the Runway can be called CHARLES DE GAULLE PARIS, why is there No plane landing on it?

When will be the actual time for Enugwu Airport to be put in use again?

Has it being down graded again to Local Airport for Local flights only?

Why didn’t they put Back the RUNWAY LIGHTS and other Navigational equipments or do they plan to introduce Candle as landing lights ?

Is this another Politics of affliction meted again to Ndigbo?

The charade of August 30 is a Joke taking too far.
