Floda Graé, an African musician, born and raised in South Africa, KwaZulu Natal, discovered her love for music at the age of 12, where she made her first few records in a home studio in Newlands West.

She attended Overport Secondary in Durban and later studied finance at Damelin College – ”I just wanted to study something that had nothing to do with music but also something that would assist with my businesses.” She once told this publication.

Like a fairy tale, she was playing with her friends one day when a neighbor who was a producer asked if anyone knew any female who could sing. They instantly pointed at Patricia. She was immediately asked to do a chorus which came out promising. This was the most important musical foundation for F.G. The rest is history….

In 2016, she made her debut into the music industry with her first single titled ‘RNB’. She later released her song ‘Decapitate Me’ which took the industry by storm. The song landed her a Metro FM award nomination and later opened great opportunities for her.

In 2017, she was signed under one of the most influential entertainment companies in Africa, “List Entertainment Africa” where she released her first single titled “Ran Away”. In 2018 she following up with “What you do” and “Bad Ting” in 2019.

After a little break, in 2022 she returned with a new song titled “Iyona Le” featuring Fiokee who is a Nigerian musician and guitarist. This was released on 15th of December 2022 which she performed live at “Christmas on the sea” Sailors lounge Lagos & was also an opening act at “Vibes on the beach” with Wizkid . “Iyona Le” is an alluring piece and is already making waves.

In January 2024, she dropped a hit song titled SARAFINA featuring Nigeria’s Skiibii.

Her first studio EP titled “Matters of the Heart” was released in 2021 which featured artist like Luka Pryce, Klowzed and Khumz.

Her dream is to break the international market and to represent Africa by sharing her music talent with the entire globe.
