Bayelsa State is not a Banana Republic where people of questionable characters shall lead.
Joshua Maciver who is now parading his dented Conscience everywhere as a Deputy Governor Candidate mobilized his criminal group to kidnap the workers who were constructing SWALI BRIDGE that will connect part of Yenagoa LGA and the whole of Southern Ijaw LGA where Joshua Maciver come from to the rest of the world.
It was our foremost agitator and one of the symbols of the contemporary struggle for the emancipation cum liberation of our great people from economic and political servitude Chief Government Ekpemupolo aka Tompolo that ordered him to release the captives and victims then. Tompolo gave him some money and asked him never to go near that development project that was meant to develop and open our towns and villages.
But for the timely intervention of High Chief Government Ekpemupolo aka Tompolo and others, the nefarious activities of Joshua Maciver and his cohorts would have stalled the construction and completion of that strategic SWALI BRIDGE that has opened up parts of Yenagoa, Ogbia and others.
Today, such unrepentant character is still threatening to unleash mayhem on Bayelsans who are not supporting their ill-advised and ill-conceived Project.
Bayelsans should rise up and resist such retrogressive elements and forces that are planning to drag us 20years backward while other states are moving forward.
Bayelsans shall Vote and our Votes shall count. Bayelsans cannot leave Light (Diri + Law) that we are enjoying to support darkness.
