The Labour Party candidate for the Abakaliki/Izzi Federal Constituency in the last general elections, Dr. Ezeh Emmanuel Ezeh says he is still hopeful that the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi will win at the Election Petition Tribunal.

The presidential candidates of the Labour Party, Peter Obi and that of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar are currently challenging the victory of Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the Presidential Election Tribunal in Abuja. Nigerians are now waiting for the judgement of the Court after the judges have heard all petitions.

Emmanuel Ezeh, in an interview says; “I am still hopeful that Mr Peter Obi backed by millions of Nigerians will reclaim the mandate freely given by the Nigerian people irrespective of age, sex, religion and tribe. Nigerians spoke loudly and in support of Mr Obi’s brand of politics. This is a fact.”

He stated further; “When that time comes, we shall prosecute these unpatriotic people according to the laws of the land. Many of them should be in prison.”
