Jamira Haines has briefly explained why she broke up with 50 Cent.
Ms Haines who is also known as Cuban Link, is a social media celebrity who was raised in New Jersey, U.S and born on November 12, 1994, in Cuba to her Puerto Rican mother and African-American father.
50 Cent and Jamira “Cuban Link” Haines made their debut as a couple at the season 6 premiere of Power in 2019.
And 50 has has remained fairly private about his relationship with her.
According to Jamira Haines;
“50 Cent and I met after he said that he loved me at the Soul Train Music Awards. I remember when I first talked to him, it was magical.
“So my birthday was coming, 50 Cent’s van pulled up and filled the entire house with my favorite flowers which are Casablancas and Gardenia. 50 Cent is gentleman and he’s very generous and kind.
“What kîlled the relationship was that we were just way too public and way too fast. But what made me leave him is because he was too strong and powerful for me to handle in bed.
50 Cent was and is still the love of my life and I’ll admit that without any reservations.”
While they rarely speak about their relationship publicly, the “In Da Club” singer did describe his girlfriend to PEOPLE as “cool” and said she “has her own ideas and her own direction,” shortly after they made their debut as a couple.
In 2016, Haines began a career in modeling after signing with the modeling agency Wilhelmina Models. During her time with the agency, Haines booked campaigns with athletic brands Nike and Puma, among others.
A few years into her modeling career, Haines left the agency to start her own fitness-centered lifestyle and apparel brand, Cuban Fit. The company’s website says the brand is “dedicated to empowering women to feel their best, both physically and mentally.”
In 50 Cent’s book Hustle Harder, Hustle Smarter, released in 2020, the rapper revealed that he and his now ex-girlfriend often utilize collage-making to better their relationship.
“For 30 days, I [told her], ‘Send me a picture of something you want,’ ” he told PEOPLE. “Then after the 30 days, I did the same. At the end of it, we put the two vision boards together and talked about the things that don’t match up. It sparked conversations that we probably wouldn’t have gotten to randomly, and it was easier for us to express it because it’s so early.”
In addition to inspiring each other, Haines and 50 Cent enjoy keeping their relationship light, and the fitness trainer often pranks her rapper boyfriend.
Moreso, 50 Cent’s New Year’s resolution might have tipped off a change in his relationship status.
The “Candy Shop” rapper said that he is “practicing abstinence” in the New Year.
That’s weird enough, but we also noticed that there are no photos of the rapper’s girlfriend in sight.
The New York native posted a photo of himself enjoying a cigar and some brown liquor (most likely the rapper’s Branson Cognac, which he tagged in the photo) on Instagram. In the caption is where he revealed his New Year’s resolution.
“My new idea is so big, I don’t have time to be distracted I’m practicing abstinence, I have been meditating and focusing on my goals,” he wrote. “I hope this New Year helps you excel to the next level.”
This alone gave the rapper out.
While the rap mogul doesn’t mention that he is a single man, the fact that there are no photos or videos reminiscent of his relationship with fitness trainer and model Cuban Link on his Instagram feed is strange.
