Nigerian media personality Daddy Freeze has said the presidential candidates of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi, and his counterpart from African Action Congress, AAC, Omoyele Sowore, might not have ended the sufferings Nigerians are experiencing under President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
He, however, noted that a younger president like Sowore or Obi would have attracted more investments to Nigeria unlike Tinubu’s administration.
Addressing his followers on Instagram, he said Sowore or Obi’s presidency would have done better than Tinubu’s government.
According to Freeze: “I supported Omoyele Sowore and I know a lot of youths supported Peter Obi; they probably would have to do the same thing that this government is doing. The only difference is that they would have served as the anaesthesia while this economic surge is going on.
“The youths were more connected to people like Peter Obi and what did they stand to gain from him? They would believe that whatever he is doing is in their best interest.
“The suffering might not have been anyway better, the only thing I believe is that a younger president like Omoyele Sowore or Peter Obi will gain the confidence of Nigerians in Diaspora who want to invest in the country.
“The confidence many youths would have given Peter Obi or Omoyele Sowore is what is lacking in this government.”
He added that;
”“Obi would have served as an effective antidote while surgery is on. He would have mobilized Nigerians, especially Diasporans, to push Billions of Dollars home”.
Wisdom is profitable to direct in all your getting , get understanding. Your Sowore and Obi couldn’t have done anything better than what TINUBU is doing currently. Though there is hunger in the land but it’s as a result of cumulative effect of Boko boys, Banditry, Fulani herders killing and sacking farmers from accessing their farm land to farm and even the North refuses to acknowledge that let alone deal with it squarely. Once people can’t farm, then, starvation is inevitable.
However, the President can’t be held responsible for your actions, my actions and every other Nigerian individual actions of sabotage on the part of noir economy or will Sowore and Obi perform magic about such?. A situation where every civil servants wants a kick back before a project is approved including those foreign investors that wants to come and invest in the country, was Tinubu also the cause of that.? If Nigeria is to be great, it will be our joint efforts, lawyers, doctors, journalists, civil servants and civil Society, parents and religious leaders and every single Nigerian must change their mind set of get rich quick and learn to be patriotic to our nation and then, things will be to change for the better. So, stop saying Obi or Sowore wil do any better. Thank you
