The youths in the opposition PDP in Ekiti state have berated former governor, Ayo Fayose over his recent statement where Fayose congratulated the APC senator Yemi Adaramodu on his victory against Fayose’s PDPs candidate, Biodun Olujimi, at the Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Ilorin Kwara state on Wednesday
Political elites among other political adherents have condemned Ayo Fayose while many described his statement as the height of irresponsibility from supposed opposition leader.
Fayose was described as an embarrassment not only to his family but also to a saner clime. The group demanded Ayo Fayose to bury his head in shame rather than furthering his lunacy.
“Wike was a local Government Chairman when Fayose was Ekiti Governor in 2003 but today Fayose has become an errand to Wike, El-Rufai was the immediate past Governor of Kaduna and his Son, Bello is today a Reps member at the Green chamber while Fayose Son was sorely rejected at the polls.
Fayose is politically drowning and would hold on to anything for survival. He no longer has the integrity and has lost the political relevance to present or endorse anyone for political positions. He was quick to rush to the press to congratulate the opposition just because he wants to impress his paymasters.”
“We have on good authority that Fayose collected 50% from the $100,000 given to each of his imposed and unpopular candidates by Wike and Makinde to support their elections, including his Son Joju who contested for House of Representatives. Instead of appropriating the funds, Fayose swindled the monies and went further to instruct the PDP candidates to withdraw from the race when the reality of his rejection both by his party PDP and the general public.
“It is only a fool within the APC that would fall cheap for Fayose’s antics and suggestive narrative that he ever helped the APC to win the general elections n in Ekiti, someone who as two terms governor could not deliver his biological son in a ‘two local governments’ election should bury his head in shame. Unfortunately for him (Fayose), his lunatic expression only serves as comic relief in the market square.” PDP stated.
