When Gov. Soludo talks about “Law and Order”

When Gov. Soludo talks about "Law and Order"

When Gov. Soludo talks about “Law and Order” as a cardinal part of the five pillars of this administration, the implication is that he has elected to breath live and grant wings for the law to prevail at all times and in all circumstance. The Anambra State Traditional Rulers (amendment) law is one of such extant rules of engagement for communities and traditional Rulers. Its crafting and even most recent amendment predates Gov. Soludo.

Without the Laws, living will be nothing short of chaotic, and where any individual signs up a responsibility such a person becomes subject to the rules governing the conduct of such a responsibility. In the case of Igwe Neni and his merchandised contravention of this extant laws, one can only wonder why such flagrant abuse will be coming from such a respected community leader who should be the number law keeper in his locality. Especially after the coordinating Ministry had earlier issued stern warning on same subject.

Well, the said law was not made today, the King in question was not corronated today. Above all, ignorance of the Law is certainly not an excuse for abuse of the law.
