Preamble
Political discussions at various quarters, communities and neighborhoods in Imo State since after the day light electoral robbery that took place on Saturday March 18th, 2023 in Imo State has raised more doubt on the readiness of the APC led government of Imo State to respect the principles of Democratic participation by playing according to Electoral rules as enshrined in the Electoral Act 2022 as amended.
Imolites are very worried by the level of political rascality exhibited by the APC led government of Imo State on 18th March, 2023 during the State House of Assembly Elections in the State.
The Leadership Imo State Needs
Imolites are very worried and concerned on the quality and character of person Imo State will vote as Governor of Imo State in the forthcoming governorship election slated to hold on November 11th, 2023.
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) is very worried that for the past eleven years, Imo State Government has been dominated by political tyrants and brutalist, none visionary rulers and persons with tendencies and desperation to remain in Power by whatever means in other to exploit and repress the toiling masses of Imo State.
Within the period in view, Imo State has witnessed massive Human Capital Flight, Lack of enabling environment for investment, partly caused by the rising State of insecurity and Poor Economic State Policies, High Taxation, Human Rights Abuses and Lack of political tolerance towards divergent opinions.
On the foregoing, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) is committed to present to Imolites the best and Visionary Candidate for the November 11th, 2023 Governorship Election.
We must restore the lost glories of Imo State, because the State now needs a Governor with Leadership Competence, Patriotism, Democrat, Visionary, Transparent and willingness to conduct the Local Government Council Elections as at when due.
Consequent upon the above, we are calling on Imolites who has not joined the Rainbow Alliance (RA) to please do so, and thus step up mobilization for the ‘Project Regime Change in Imo State’.
