Nollywood actress, Allwell Ademola, has opened up on the demise of her lover ahead of preparation for their marriage in 2005.

The thespian who celebrated her 41st birthday on Wednesday, 9 August disclosed the reason she is still unmarried during an interview with her colleague, Biola Adebayo, on her YouTube program, Talk to B.

In the snippet shared on Biola’s Instagram page, Allwell opened up on her dating life, saying she would have gotten married in 2005, but death took the love of her life.

According to the movie star, they were having a phone conversation when the man was shot.

Allwell stated that the tragic incident left her speechless, and she was traumatized for two years.

Also, speaking on her journey in the movie industry, the actress said she had always received support from her mother, adding that her father never supported anything about entertainment.

She said, “It has been my mom supporting me, my dad never supported anything about entertainment. I know a lot of people who don’t want to be married and want to be alone. I know those who want to be married but don’t want kids.

“I was supposed to have gotten married in 2005, but he died in November of that same year.

“I was talking to him on the phone when he got shot. It was a traumatic experience, I lost my mind for two years, I didn’t know how my phone dropped from my hand, I was just speechless.”
