Banji Okunomo wins Facebook Governorship Contest

Banji Okunomo, leading Governorship Aspirant of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State, has been declared the winner of an opinion poll conducted on Facebook to know the most popular governorship aspirants from Ilaje local government Area of Ondo State.

 

Banji Okunomo was declared winner of the opinion poll on Friday, 1st May, after defeating Chief Olusola Oke of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the trio of Chief Olusola Ebiseni, Chief Godday Erewa and Prince Ola Mafo of the opposition PDP in Ondo State to emerge the winner of the opinion poll conducted by Adunni Onigege Ara, a Social Media operator on Thursday.



Adunni Onigege Ara hope the voters will go beyond social media when the real election comes.

 

“I hope they do more than a social media campaign for him,’ she says.

“I conducted an Opinion poll 24hrours ago. The Poll came with a lot of comments and all. I can boldly tell you that we had a winner. Someone came out as the most popular candidate. ”
