CONNAK Foundation, a Non-profit organization with its headquarters in Abia State has contributed immensely to the fight against the deadly COVID-19 scourge in the State.
They started off the campaign in Umuahia, the State capital and some villages within and around the capital, with the distribution of 2000 Hand sanitizers in Umuahia and Aba.
The major focus for these donations were the indigent and low income people in the state who might not afford the cost of sanitIizers especially this period.
To assist the medical personnel working in the Federal Medical Center Umuahia with the fight to protect the citizens in the State, the CONNAK Foundation also donated 10 Cartons of hand gloves, 10 boxes of N95 Ventilator face mask to the hospital, and these are to be used by the healthcare personnel.

Chairman of the Foundation Mr. Ken Ukeagu, speaking through the Foundation’s medical adviser in the South East, Dr. Orji Nnorom, admonishes people of Abia state to comply with the federal government’s directives and stay home for their own safety and to always wash their hands with soap and runnung water.
