PUTTING HUMANITY FIRST – DR. MADUKA’S IDEA OF A NEW DIMENSION IN DELIVERING GOOD GOVERNANCE.
Globally renowned Umuchukwu born medical expert, Dr. Godwin Maduka (Okosisi Orumba) has notably done a whole lot in developing his town, Anambra communities, Southeastern States and supporting the Government.
For over 20yrs through his NGO; Dr. Godwin Maduka Foundation, Okosisi Orumba has touched countless number of lives through philanthropic gestures of scholarship schemes, free medical services, financial support for SMEs and donation of strategic infrastructures to compliment government’s efforts. Unlike today’s “emergency philanthropists”, he has been in the business of human capacity development and giving back to the society.
Asides the much talked about 17-Floor multiplex medical centre in his Umuchukwu hometown, which happens to be the biggest medical structure in Sub-Sahara Africa when operational, he has constructed and handed over a number of commissioned projects to the government, amongst which is a high court. He has countless projects littered everywhere to his credit, all done to the service of God and humanity.
It is understandable that failed leaderships we’ve had, has made electorates not to believe in the big picture of good governance. You’ll agree with me that a man who has over the years consistently and handily transformed many towns with his personal resources, will definitely outlive any manifesto he hands out to electorates. Putting humanity first is the whole idea of Dr. Maduka’s new dimension to delivering good governance.
As the Anambra 2021 gubernatorial polls draws closer, Ndi Anambra have continued to push their quest for not just a responsive government that will provide basic amenities, but also, one that’ll be for the people and by the people. Our next governor should be one who’s track record matches his beautifully written manifesto, he should be #aManLikeMaduka. Simply put, he should be Dr. Godwin Maduka.
