The National Coordinator of Pan-Africa Dialogue, Nigeria, Com. Efenudu Joseph in his new year message charge members to re-energize grassroots and accommodate others with aim of promoting unity among their members.
Com. Efenudu Joseph said the 2020 plan of the Pan-Africa Dialogue is to meet the most important needs of the people and this will be done through “grassroots mobilization and integration.”
According to him “As part of our activities to make resolutions and set agenda as a new year. We have already given a clear indication to set our objective for the year and ensure by all possible means that more of the programmes and projects envisioned by our team would be accomplish by meeting the yearnings of our people.”
“This is always a hopeful time, as we celebrate the end of one year and the beginning of another, we must also look back on this year with the knowledge that brighter days are ahead of us that although our challenges are great, each of us has the courage and determination to rise up and meet them.”
“We will give priority to grassroots mobilization and integration, we would prioritize the back to school program as enumerated in our Christmas message and among other programs. Let us all therefore resolve as we celebrate the new year to place the higher interests of unity, peace, stability and progress above all other considerations and work harder in our particular fields of human endeavour to contribute more significantly to the attainment of our collective aspirations.”
“Let us begin this New Year by resolving to help others, ready and willing to work together. Let us seize this opportunity to make a new beginning by creatively harnessing what is best in our past to build for the future. There is a role and place for everyone in Pan-Africa Dialogue. Let us set aside narrow sectoral interests to serve the greater national interest that will guarantee a future of peace, stability and prosperity for all.”
Putting up the shield, Com. Efenudu Joseph said the Pan-Africa Dialogue members will ignore rumor paddlers who aim at spoiling all good things they protrude.
“On our part, we want to assure you that we will refuse to be discouraged by those who have taken it upon themselves to pick on every initiative and effort of others. We will remain resolutely committed to the ideal of our struggle, due process and fair play in all circumstances.”
He further stated “The task of making Nigeria a better place for present and future generations cannot be left to government alone. Leaders and followers have critical roles to play in our march towards the fulfillment of our great potentials. I wish you all a happy and rewarding 2020.”
