Frank Edwards: How I Lost My Singing Ability

Frank Ugochukwu Edwards, a renowned Nigerian gospel singer, has recounted how he lost his ability to sing following a performance at an unfamiliar church.

According to him, the unfortunate incident resulted in his prolonged absence from the music industry in Nigeria.

However, Frank Edwards announced he has now come forward to publicly explain the cause of his silence following questions why for his absence.

He attributed his miraculous recovery to the divine intervention by God, which occurred after a meeting with Pastor Paul Enenche, the General Overseer of the Dunamis International Gospel Center.

The Gospel Minister said:

“We get a lot of invites as gospel singers. Most of the time, we don’t bother to check our destination out of enthusiasm. I won’t say which church it is here, but they asked me to sing. Since I returned from there, I no longer have the ability to sing. The musical things I do are things I could not do. My career was deteriorating.

“When someone called me to inquire about my whereabouts, I simply said that I was working on an album. The identical question was posed to me one day by Pastor Dr Paul Enenche over the phone. Then I confessed. He advised me to pray before traveling because not all places are conducive to visiting. That day, he prayed for my recovery.

“The day after that special moment with him, it felt as though a new chapter in my life had begun. I was able to resume my previous work in a better form now. Since then, I’ve had an overflow in every aspect of my life.”
