A lawyer, Mr Johnson Olatunde Ayo has on Sunday, 23rd May, accused a security man in Hon. John Gabaya ‘s detail of attempted murder.
Hon. John Gabaya house is the current Chairman of Bwari Area Council, Abuja.
According to Barr. Johnson Olatunde Ayo the security man in question, on Saturday, 24th May, was ‘trying to shoot another citizen at Sabon Gari Bwari in Abuja. Him being a lawyer and advocate of human right, decided to step in to understand the situation – why a police man on mufti was pointing a gun at a citizen.
With immediate change of thought, the so called security man in Hon. John Gabaya’s detail turned the gun at him and tried to shoot.
To the extend he also pull the trigger and place the gun on me
telling me he will shoot and kill me that was even making attempt to calm him down
But for the timely intervention of the crowd which had gathered, 10am on Saturday could have been the last day of Barr. Johnson Olatunde Ayo.
Recently, the issue of men of the Force attacking and cutting short the lives of innocent Nigerians is almost the norm of the day, which of course is something everyone of us as a nation will have to raise a voice against.
What will Hon. John Gabaya and the Nigeria Police Force do about this?

I have a complain concerning a police officer
I’m chatting from Bwari Abuja Nigeria
Yesterday morning around 10:47am at Sabon gari Bwari
Opposite John Gabaya house, Chairman Bwari Area Council, were a police officer, Who pulled a gun trigger to shoot an innocent citizen.
The police office was not on uniform
And he is among the officer assigned to Hon. John Gabaya as escort to guide his house
All the effort trying to resolve the issue were refuse by the officer
Even when many people were talking to the office to calm down and drop his gun, but he refuse
To the extend he also pull the trigger and place the gun on me
telling me he will shoot and kill me that was even making attempt to calm him down
If not for the intervention of the general public that were shouting and telling him to drop the gun that I was only trying to settle the issue
Before he now let down the gun and released me, only God know what would have happen.
Pls I brought this to the attention of your office to publish this article because I want this issue to go viral and let the police officer be brought to justice.
