HOW TO LOVE A WOUNDED MAN — Know that underneath the tough demeanour of men, alot of men are hurting and love softens the toughest heart.

Differentiate between a wounded man and a man who doesn’t love you. A wounded man struggles, a man who doesn’t love you will destroy you.

Consistently give him peace, assurance and affection and he will open up to you. Consistency is key, you cannot be pushing him away, talking to him anyhowly then expect him to lean on you in the days you try to be warm

Reach out to him, show interest in his well being. Often it is assumed the man is the one to reach out to her. Hear him out. Many women talk and project their emotions instead of listening more.

Show him that you need him. This will awaken greatness in him. A man who feels he adds value to a woman’s life, gets inspired to arise

Ask him the right questions, starting with easy ones as you build up to sensitive ones. Break down his defences progressively. Find interesting ice breakers.

Be patient with him. If you manipulate him, rush him or force him to become the man you want him to be, he will put a wall between you two

Understand his past and don’t judge him because of it. Look into his background, his upbringing, is he in need of healing? Are their some struggles he picked up along the way?

Don’t make excuses for him for his bad behaviour. He needs a woman who will be honest with him and correct him with love. Denial brings no healing

Speak life into him. Alot of men have no one who believes in them and who truly cares

Pray for him in his presence. The Holy Spirit will partner with you to heal him and transform his mind.

Don’t compare him with other men. Take the pressure away from him.

Appreciate the progress he makes big or small.

Praise him in private and in public. It reminds him that you are paying attention to his effort.

Tap into the innocent him inside who used to dream and believe in values by allowing him to share with you his passion. Remind him that he can be revived.

Keep him from hiding behind money by noticing the great things about him that money can’t buy. Alot of hurting men hide behind money and material things
