Kemi Olunloyo has highlighted a critical issue that Igbo politicians are turning a blind eye to.
Olunloyo is talking about is the consumption of hard drugs, especially the use of a deadly and addictive drug popularly referred to as Mkpuru Mmiri by the south easterners.
Methamphetamine also known as Mkpuru Mmiri is a highly addictive and psycho stimulant drug that is consumed because of its euphoric effect that is similar to the effect of cocaine. The consumption of the drug is not peculiar to the south east alone but it seems it is consumed on a large scale there, though there no statistics to back that up.
Kemi Olunloyo via Twitter called the attention of politicians and the people of the south east to the effect meth might have on their communities if the menace is not properly managed. She said politicians are not talking about the devastating effect abuse of crystal meth is causing, this she said might cause chaos in Igbo communities.
