Lily Allen: I Lost My Virginity At “About 12”

Lily Allen said her first time having sex was a bit of a “traumatic” experience.

The “Hard Out Here” singer explained that she had sex for the first time at “about 12” during a family vacation with her dad and brother — and that her dad called the police on her when he realized she was missing.

“I actually went missing,” she shared on the Life’s a Beach podcast with Alan Carr. “I lost my virginity to a guy called Fernando in Brazil. When I was about 12, no I am [not] joking.”
Lily said that her dad had apparently come to her room to check on her, and when he realized she was gone, he swiftly contacted the police.

“I woke up the next morning and there were police all over the hotel,” she said. “They were literally combing the beach and had T-shirts [asking], ‘Is this what she was wearing?’ I didn’t have the heart to say, ‘No, I was just losing my virginity.’”

Lily said after that, she never spoke to Fernando again. “It was all a bit traumatic,” she added, “and I didn’t have sex again then for a while.”

She’s now married to Stranger Things’ David Harbour, who she reportedly began dating in 2019. She’s also been linked to people like Sam Cooper and Rupert Grint.

Since tying the knot, the couple has offered sweet glimpses into their marriage during interviews and Harbour has spoken out about happily taking on stepfather duties.

“I’m so grateful that I’m not alone anymore, and that I have someone that I can tell everything to and who can tell me everything,” Harbour said in 2021 about his pop star wife.

Speaking with PEOPLE back in 2020, he also shared how proud he is of their blended family. Harbour said, “Making that kind of a commitment, which I haven’t for most of my life, was a huge thing for me. And it just makes you feel a little bit more like a man, to be honest. I just feel a little bit more like an adult.”
