DISCLAIMER OVER A MAP OF PLATEAU STATE ON THE INTERNET WITH A PORTION MARKED AS ‘MONGU HAUSAWA’

I am appealing for Unity and Truth amongst the native people of Nigeria over Land Matters. There is sinister plot by the Fulani to incite bloodshed between the natives of plateau state and their hausa indigenous brethren.

The map in question, is mischievously labeled Mongu Hausawa, suggesting that Hausa people are claiming ownership of the land. Whereas, we Hausa people do not claim land anywhere that is not rightfully ours. We are well aware of the boundaries of Hausa land, which include Kano, Katsina, Jigawa, Sokoto, Zamfara, and Zaria. Therefore, the land so marked is not ours and we have no hands in the evil scheme designed to incite ethnic troubles in plateau state. Even within Hausa territories, we have coexisted with other indigenous groups for thousands of years, long before the arrival of the Fulani.

I am calling the attention of the Plateau people to this issue. Whenever you see such developments, know that we, the Hausas, are not responsible for it. The Fulani, wanting to incite us against each other, are responsible. They know they can’t confront the indigenous peoples all at once, so they want to provoke us against each other in order for us to shed each other’s blood. Don’t forget, the Fulani are foreigners. We Hausa people see you, the indigenous people, as our brothers. We Hausas—our Muslims, Christians, and traditional worshipers—are with you, the Plateau people, one hundred percent. And this map that they have changed on Google should be reverted to what it used to be—it is not Hausa land. Know that the Fulani kill Hausa people—they took Hausa children and fed them to Fulani dogs. They took a Hausa child, cooked him, and gave him to the Hausas to eat. They took Hausa women to the mosques and raped them. The way the Fulani kill Christians is how they kill us Muslims.

I, Kalthoum Alumbe Jitami, am calling on all fellow indigenous Nigerians, Igbos, Yorubas, and everyone else, we must not allow the Fulani to incite us against each other. We must cooperate to ensure we never elect a Fulani to power again. Buhari should be the last Fulani president Nigeria should ever have. We must never allow a foreigner to assume the number one seat again.

I am greeting all the indigenous peoples of the Plateau.

If we are not, we will say so and expose the Fulani for their chicanery, in Hausa, English, and Arabic. May God rest the souls of the deceased in Plateau—we are with you.
