It is very important Nigeria celebrate Miyetti Allah for whispering to Boko Haram to free the Kankara boys. This is the right thing to do after such prowess.
Recall that the Miyetti Allah wanted the Nigerrin Government to give them approval to protect the whole country, they even went further in February 2020 to call for the inclusion of its members in the proposed then Amotekun initiative in south-west states. The call was made by Alhaji Yaqub Bello, a former Chairman of the Myetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN).
Many have called them names but shouldn’t this be taken as point proven that they can actually secure Nigeria against bandits and themselves.
The group have also broken a record that no Nigerian Government or even the US could. They went to Boko Haram brothers, had an interesting conversation which we widely accepted immediately and obeyed.
Governor Masari on Channels Television’s Politics Today said –
“We are discussing through the leadership of MACBAN, Miyetti Allah with those suspected to have carried out the abduction. I had a meeting with the Commissioner of Police and heads of security agencies two or three hours ago.
“There are talks. It is not about who is in charge, but what is of paramount concern to me as the chief security officer of the state is that these students return home safely and this is what we are talking about.
“It is natural for patents to be angry, but I as the state governor, I will answer for my deeds here and beyond. So, I am more concerned about the rescue of the children and the safety of people of the state.”
No agreement, no ransom, behold your boys are back. Seriously a big shame on former President Goodluck Jonathan, Olusegun Obasanno is currently chewing his nails.

President Muhammadu Buhari appreciates, says the release of the students of Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, Katsina state, shows the armed forces know their job; not sure he read where the military washed their hands of the drama. Femi Adesina must have been busy.
Except someone is ready to explain to me that the Military dissociating itself from the reported negotiations by the Katsina State government with the hoodlums that abducted over 300 students of Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, Katsina State, was what touched the heart of Boko Haram to free the boys.
So I find Mr President, saying that, “The Governor, Aminu Bello Masari, and the army worked extremely hard. As soon as I got the information I congratulated them. The Armed Forces know their job. They have been well trained and properly motivated,” through Garba Shehu awkward.
“Tell the vigilantes and soldiers not to come around,” one of the boys in the viral video said, adding “more than 500 of us are in the forest”. I take it that there was a message before this, though Maj. Gen. John Enenche said that the military had taken all the necessary brief from other agencies and the Katsina State government on the condition of the abducted students and based on those information added that the hostages were still with the bandits unharmed. A simple deal.
Mr President is actually a man of few words truly. Unfortunately, Nigerians don’t know sign language anymore. At least that’s what I and many other old boys grew with but not these ones. Once it not on Twitter or Facebook and clearly spelled out, they know nothing but they will never miss a wink by a house mate in BBN or True Love….proud of their senses.
Truth is after the Killing of Farmers in Borno State, photos of Mr President emerged of him going to visit his cows, and then while the search for Kankara boys was on, he made a video of him checking out his cows!
‘This foolish people, if they don’t understand the photos, I hope they will understand this video.’ I am not sure the ‘Soro soke angels’ do.
It’s simple, ‘you can never be more important than my cows’. I have created enough policies and bills to buttress my point – RUGA Bill, Water Bill, Banning of Guns, and so on. And guess what, your fathers and elders working with me will help me achieve this. They have no choice!’
Yet about these boys, Governor Aminu Bello Masari in a video said ‘most’ of the boys have been recovered, he also added that “344 are now with the security agencies and will be moved to Katsina this night”. Fine but Mr Governor said “They say they have surrendered all (the boys) that is with them.”
“I think we can say … we have recovered most of the boys, if not all of them,”
Its a lot for you to figure yourself but we need to always remember that Garba Shehu said only 10 were abducted and not 333.
Moreover, it’s all about Change right?
Lets close our eyes and mind at this point to ask a simple question. Who really abducted the Kankara boys?
“It is logistically impossible for Boko Haram to have abducted the boys in the north north-west, unless there is a cooperation between the group who abducted the boys and Boko Haram” – Shehu Sani.
So who can make it logistically possible? Remember the report that the boys were taken with just “three bikes’?
Not long ago, Mailafia made allegations about some government officials been sponsors of BH. He was arrested by DSS, we know how that ended in total mute.
But those are mere talks from haters of APC.
Thursday, 17th December, 2020, few hours before the release, the All Progressives Congress (APC) accused an unnamed serving governor as the sponsor of insecurity in the country.
Without revealing the identity or party affiliation of the governor, the APC in a statement on Thursday claimed that its “investigation intelligence report” showed a governor from the North-west as colluding with criminals to cause violence in the region.
Situating its reasons against the backdrop of Nigeria’s security challenges, the APC called on the country’s security agencies to act fast.
“Our security agencies have intelligence reports linking one of the North-west governors of colluding and sponsoring the violent and criminal activities of bandits in the zone. I won’t give details because of the sensitive and security nature of the issue.
“However, relevant security agencies must as a matter of urgency investigate the report and determine its veracity. Human life is not what we should play political chess games with,” the party deputy spokesperson, Yekini Nabena said, linking the unpleasant development to the party’s ‘political enemies’.

Who has the full details of the abducted boys “release”. I am still trying to figure out what transpired. Was there a negotiation with the “bandits” by the government? Or did they release them voluntarily? Where was the pickup point? How did the government know the pickup point?
Or was there a rescue operation by the military? Did they capture any of the abductors? What plans are in place to mitigate against future reoccurrence? Should we assume the North is safe and nothing like this will repeat itself again? Too many questions running through my mind.
