It all begins in Depot Nigeria Army, Zaria in Kaduna state.
When we trained into the Nigerian Army. Going to church and mosque to worship God was Dolle (compulsory) to all the recruits, Even though you had never go to any of the places in your civil life before. Forcing every recruits to participate in religions centre was to enable them to know that Religion is part of the system. But now no commander checked his soldiers to know if they’re still going to worship God anymore.
In most cases if a soldier requested for permission to go to church or mosque the guide commander will tell the soldier ; THIS IS ARMY, YOU DON’T NEED TO GO ANYWHERE, THERE’S NO RELIGION IN ARMY,
Especially Christian soldiers.
An Infantry soldiers will be engaged for 24hrs duty for the period of one year without even two days freedom, If you remain loyal in the duty post, you’re counted as a dull or foolish soldier, and if you apply your wisdom, charges might follow you.
This is the reason some soldiers easily buys job a moment they received a little freedom. They got carried away because the opportunity might not be easily given again.
At least time to serve God supposed to be given to every soldiers. After all, christians and Muslims have a deferent time or day of worships which will still make the guides secured.
Our motto’s says, VICTORY IS FROM GOD ALONE which means, special time to serve God supposed to be given for every personnel.
Proverbs 21:31 says, You can get horses ready for battle, but it is the LORD who gives victory.
That’s to say without God we can not get it right.
If you are claiming that the system was like that from the beginning, Are we still wearing the old Military uniform or collecting the same amount of salary we had been paid before? Things are changing so we need to upgrade our own Army.
Most of the crime committed today is leading by the security men because of how government and superior officers are treated them. Some Superior officers would said, after all, a graduate civilians in Nigeria today are not opportune receive the amount of money you are paying as a salary.
Can a graduate civilians go to war front?
Can they fight for the peace of the nation?
These civilians are always with their families at home.
They mostly have freedom even more than two days a week.
Most of their work is less than 12hrs.
Their hope to live long is always intact.
But security men are always put their lives at risk.
They can trap at anytime.
They left their families for days, months and years.
They’re always awake when others are sleeping.
They always run to danger without guarantee of returning.
Every wicked people are after their lives.
They worked under the sun and rain.
Their families are dumped at home
THEY SUPPOSED TO BE TREATED FINE.
Soldiers that are suppose to fight against illegal business are now the one supporting it just to put food on their tables, because the system are no longer afford three square meals a day for them anymore. Imagine you and your family?
Other countries Soldiers are loyal to their government because they are well treated, They hardly collect bribe because their salary satisfied their need, but here in Nigeria, 95% of soldiers are succeeded through illegal duty.
They would tell you, your superior is always right, therefore, anything He done to you, you can not do him anything .
That is why soldiers entitlement would be given to share to them, one superior among them would put it on his puckett and tells them to WAIT FOR THEIR TIME. That’s to say the corruption will not finish because they too will do to their subordinates .
Base on the cheating system, If you want to appreciate a soldier with something, do it by yourself or give an effective order for it, find out later if the order has been taken. soldiers are dying in silent 😓
Soldiers entitlement are not been given anymore. Imagine a military hospital has now turned to a civil hospital, and soldiers are despised. As a soldier or soldier family going to military hospital for treatment is a total waste of time, The only benefit there is that you will be excuse on duty to use the opportunity to treat yourself outside or you be the one to buy the whole medicines for your treatment.
Go to market now to see how things are increasing in price, compared to a soldier monthly salary. these are the people that have families, paying their children school fee. how would you expect them to survive with their little income? That’s why the rate of security challenges will keep increasing in this country because those who supposed to secure the country are now becoming the thieves. recruiting more securities will do no good than to increase the rates of crime.
Okada men are living fine than NIGERIAN soldiers today, even some of the soldiers are into driving business in order to survive. Their freedom are sold for nothing.
What will make a soldier to sell armor to bandit if they’re well taken care of?
A soldier that is paying #50k as a monthly salary will hardly resist #200k bribes. He will have a second thought for it. He will collect the money and open up your secret to enemy. He will betray his colleagues including you to get the money, that’s to say, even your life is also at risk.
Chop alone no good.
I heard about ECOMOG, UN, AU… which Nigerian Army used to go and fight to obtain freedom for them when there’s crisis, but here it happening in Nigeria they refused to invite them for help. We chop others and expect others not to chop our own, is it possible? A Greedy man will always die like a chicken.
Believe me You can never have peace until you handover the right of the poor.
A soldier would be wearing one uniform for over one week without wash, because he’s afraid of where to see money to buy a new camour if it spoilt.
Number one security men in the country are now becoming fatigue men.
No respect anymore in the system, a civilian would boldly tell a soldier who are you, what can you do? with their money they would use the same army to frustrate your life. commanders are no longer protected their soldiers, they would deny you even when they’re the one sent you.
Imagine a soldier that are suppose to be smelling nice are irritated people on the street. Honestly, The system needed to be ungrade, we should not deceive ourselves by our ancient doctrine. Our first father’s were foolish because there was no much knowledge then. A king who always deceived his Elders will have a lot of enemies on his throne.
Some time I wondered if the only lecture for officers in NDA is how to threaten or frustrate the life of a soldier. most of the illegal duties are leading them, and soldiers would be used as a tools but when the aim achieved they would tell you wait for you time. if you claim your right; They would order One fear fear Senior NCO to press you on charges, imagine thief mentality?
Before soldiers who committed big offence used to locked in MP guard room, but now any slide little mistake a soldier would be taken to MP guard room.
Before each soldier is entitled to have at least one room accomodation inside barrack, but now there’s no accomodation for some soldiers in the barrack anymore.
Soldiers are suffering for accommodation, no comforted place to live, especially those in Lagos, Rivers and Abuja. their families are crying outside without help.This causes depression among the soldiers.
For those superior officers that likely charged, locked or dismissed a soldier, remember, you’re not saint, you had done what they supposed to sentence you to dead, but because nobody notice you or They covered you up you seems to be free. remember God is watching us.
You know the truth and how to end insurgency in Nigeria. You even know those in sponsors, but because of what you’re gaining you refused to expose or put it to an end. You believed it doesn’t affect you and your family.
Any soldiers issues or materials given by the Army are always fake. Corruption in the system is getting unbearable. most of the soldiers in the prison are not really committed. some are locked up for asking of their rights.
They constantly warned us about social media policy so that the world shouldn’t know about our misery. This is the reason most of us are living the system. A soldier would miss, instead of finding he or her way about, they would blocked the soldiers salary account, booked him AWOL and forget about the soldier. that’s to say the soldier account is only the valuable thing.
The darkness will overshadow the earth the day soldiers will openly protest for their right, Kings will hide their faces and the redeemer of the poor shall take the glory.
The blood of the poor masses that wasted because of your selfish interest has reaches the throne of God in heaven.
