Ogun PS Hails CD&E Department For Its Resilience

The Permanent Secretary, Ogun State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Mrs. Abosede Ogunleye has commended the Department of Curriculum Development & Evaluation in the Ministry led by the Director, Mrs. Mary Okereafor for being resilience to their duties.

 

Mrs. Ogunleye, according to Mr. Ayoola Obadimu, Press Officer, MOES&T, gave this commendation during the End of the Year Get-Together organised by the department to appreciate the unwavering professionalism of the staff and to encourage them, noted that Mrs. Okereafor leading a formidable team of energetic, reliable and hard working officers.

 

According to the Permanent Secretary “The department had been put into proper shape under the supervision of Okereafor as the Director and the successes being recorded recently in the conduct of our examinations were ascribed to the unrelenting efforts of the members of the department”.

 

Ogunleye accompanied by the Director of Secondary and Higher Education, Mr. Oluwole Majekodunmi and the Director of Administration and Supplies, Mr. Temitope Balogun, described the Director as a woman of virtue, whose life was characterized with faithfulness, trustworthiness, hardworking and doggedness, enjoining other officers to emulate her for desired growth and productivity.

 

Speaking, the Director in the department, who was also the host of the programme, Mrs. Okereafor expressed her profound gratitude to God for his goodness and generosity to all members of the department and for sustaining them throughout the year, especially during the challenging periods.

Mrs. Okereafor applauded the leadership of the Ministry, led by the Commissioner, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu and the Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Ogunleye for their roles in repositioning the educational sector in the State and for creating conducive environment for the department to thrive, acknowledging her staff for their cooperation.

Speaking on behalf of other staff, the Deputy Director in the Department, Mr. Gbenga Kikisuhu and a Senior Education Officer, Mr. Joseph Awarin hailed the management of the Ministry and the organiser for putting up such a soul lifting event, saying the get-together had really refreshed and inspired them to put in more efforts for the realisation of governmental policies in education.
