The Orhionmwon Youth Stakeholders have condemned the attempted kidnap of her president, Dcn. Okunbor Jonathan, on Thursday, 11th June.

Dcn. Okunbor Jonathan is a Member Representing the Orhionmwon East Constituency at the Edo State House of Assembly and a Special Assistant to Edo State Governor.

In a statement signed by the General Secretary of Orhionmwon Youth Stakeholders, at the group’s Secretariat in Abudu, the administrative headquarters of the local government, Comrade Goodluck Osama Ogbeide said it’s quite unfortunate that those who are advocates of the people are now subject of attack.

Osama condemned the robbery and attempted kidnapp of DCN Okunbor Jonathan which led to the snatching of his car and other valuables.

He however called on the Commissioner of police to immediately swing into investigation and ensure that perpetrators of such act are brought to book.

Comrade Osama further called on the Governor, Godwin Obaseki to speak on the matter as an attack on his aide is also an indirect attack on him.
