Manchester United star Paul Pogba will reportedly only get his dream transfer away if certain things transpire.
The talented Frenchman angered fans when his agent announced on the eve of their clash with RB Leipzig that he would like to leave.
Mino Raiola is infamous for his mischievousness but supporters were frustrated with the timing of his announcement.
Nonetheless, it’s difficult to see a scenario where Pogba would stay at the United even if his agent retracts the statement and so a transfer seems increasingly likely.
However, given the financial situation of most clubs caused by the global health crisis, buying a player of his quality with straight cash is rather impossible.
According to ESPN, the Red Devils doubt Juventus or Real Madrid can afford Pogba’s price-tag and so are expecting swap deals or player plus cash deals to be offered.
However, they are not interested in swapping for players unless they’re already on Solskjaer’s transfer shortlist.
Manchester United aren’t seriously linked with either of Juventus’ or Madrid’s players but Paulo Dybala’s name has been floated around in the past.
Whether the Italian giants are willing to lose one superstar for another remains to be seen but it will be interesting to see who Solskjaer picks, if any.
