The Vice Chancellor of Lagos State University (LASU), Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, has received with delight, news of the appointment of professor of Community Health in the Lagos State University College of Medicine (LASUCOM), Prof. Olumuyiwa Odusanya, as the pioneer Vice Chancellor, Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH), Ikorodu.

Prof. Odusanya, the immediate-past Director, Directorate of Research Management and Innovation, Lagos State University, and former Provost, LASUCOM, was recently appointed by the governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, as pioneer VC of the institution.

While congratulating the respected scholar, Prof. Olatunji-Bello avers that his appointment is a felicitous one, which is no doubt informed by his vast administrative experience and scholarly eminence.

The Vice Chancellor is in no doubt that LASUSTECH would benefit immensely from his leadership as the pioneer VC.

She wishes him well and prays that God will grant him the wisdom and strength to take the institution to greater heights.
