The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has flayed President Muhammadu Buhari for the worsening state of Insecurity in the country and advised him to be humble enough to admit failure in administering the country and her resources for the past 7years.
The opposition party lamented the growing rate of insurgency ravaging the country noting that the once most prosperous nation in Africa has become a laughing stock and a shadow of herself under the watch of APC-led Buhari administration.
Reacting to the recent attacks in various flash points including military checkpoints in Abuja, the nation’s capital leading to the embarrassing threat to abduct the President, the PDP said Nigeria has now become a terrible nightmare and animal republic.
Chief Sanya Atofarati, the PDP Southwest Publicity Secretary who stated this in a press statement, said Nigerians can no longer wait for Buhari to complete his tenure in May 2023 adding that it has now become imperative for every right thinking citizens of the country, regardless of religious or political affiliation, to compel the President not only to tender his resignation but to as well apologise to Nigerians for his gross incompetence since he deceptively took over power in 2015 repeating same in a rigged re-election in 2019 knowing fully well that he lacks the capability and capacity to manage the country.
He said that it is not enough for a retired General to openly admit that he was fed up with governance and willing to quit power, but it is equally morally expedient for him to resign as a mark of honour and safe the country from the precipice.
The PDP spokesman said Nigerians have never had it this worse in all facets, while calling on the international communities to help in rescueing the country from those he described as “progressive Terrorists”.
“How do we explain that Nigeria has now lost her territorial integrity to insurgents under the clueless Government of President Mohamadu Buhari?
It is now an open secret that The APC -led administration is a ruse and a collosal failure .”
