Two lawmakers in Rivers State have retracted their decision to defect to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and have returned to the fold of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Among the 26 members who initially crossed over to the APC, Hon. Linda Somari, representing Okrika in the Rivers State House of Assembly, has now pledged her unwavering allegiance to the PDP and the leadership of Sim Fubara, while the other is yet to ‘be bold’.

The reversal of their earlier defection to the APC has solidified their stance within the PDP, aligning themselves firmly with Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s camp.
